Bought a nearly new Jaguar XF Sportbrake in October and had the drive like an old lady message come up on the dash on Thursday, as I was only 10 miles from home I pressed on home slowly. Car wouldn't go over 2000rpm and 30mph took about 1 minute. I resorted to using the paddles to upshift early to make use of the torque. Whilst crossing the Severn Bridge I call Jag Assistance and they said they would get someone to my house asap and if he couldn't fix it then they would take it away and leave me a hire car. We a bit worried about getting a smart car as a replacement for the weekend but pleased I would at least have transport!
When I got home there was a Land Rover driving by a guy from JLR waiting to repair my car, 10 minutes later the turbo hose was refitted, error code reset and he was off on his way!
