Battery Replacementn - S Type 2.7D

Hi

Might sound a dumb question.

Had a couple of handbrake failures this week which have both been easily reset by disconnecting the module for a couple of min, and reading various posts, everything points to a potential battery failure.

The car is 7 years old, original battery, so its done well.

Is it as easy as buying a new one, and swapping it out, or does it need a bit more knowledge to reset various electronic bits and pieces?

Any help appreciated.

Dumb of me, but I never though of that.

Also we have a Hi-Q in Swindon, I will check them out on price, never thought of using them.
