I should have mentioned.I know that the road he was going down had alot of large potholes. And he cant remember anything inparticular that may have caused it, But says he did go into a few potholes. Having the 20's on the car has always made me dodge potholes, but i guess he didnt know any better.

The specialist had a look and couldnt see anything that was visually bent, and advised that it was one of the arms/wishbones. I know something needs replacing, but i dont want to just stab around in the dark spending money... Even though my father is paying for it!!

The rim does sit visibly closer to the rear of the arch than the drivers side.

What would be a sensible guess as to the first thing to change?
