it was decent enough but the welding done to the floor pans was a bit agricultural and rather than cutting in and welding the panel in a piece of metal was welded over the top which looks awful and will probably last just a few years so I offered him less than his asking price as I could see quite a bit of work to rectify the poor work that had been done.
Having said that it wouldn't have taken much to get it through its MOT and could then be used this summer.
But I really want the 3.4 or 3.8 so I will sell my boat and possibly my XKR and look for a better car.
