Need some advice on an E-Type I've been offered.
It's a Mk11 4.2 Drop Head in primrose yellow with only 10,000 miles, the problem I have is that I think it spent some time in the States and want to know if been converted from left to right hand drive or even right to left and back to right again.
My other concern is that it had an engine rebuild but the current owner doesn't know if it was the original engine that was rebuilt or a reconditioned engine was sourced.
Now I have the chassis number and engine number, so how do I go about finding out if they both match to the original car?

1E means it is a series 1 or 1.5 4.2 and was lhd. LHD are 1E----- RHD are 1E---- LHD start at 1E10001

Is the car located on Nine Mile Ride?
Could well be, and yes it would appear to be a series 1 originally LHD
