F- Type V6S driving modes

I recently bought an F Type V6S and love it.
Couple of questions:

1) launch control. Anybody used it? I don't really see the need for it but wondered if anyone's tried it? I guess I have too much mechanical sympathy - ie enjoy spirited driving but not sure about launch control on cars.

2) I've read somewhere there is a 'race mode' ie one mode up from 'dynamic mode'. Does anyone on here know anything about it or tried it?

Thanks for that. I won't be switching off any traction control on road use. I already find the traction control lets you have enough fun switched on as is. Much less intrusive than the one on my previous 370z.
