Historic Jaguar Racing Cars, Tech Details and History Req'd.
Discussion
Hi Folks,
I'm fairly new to Jaguars, favouring plastic British lightweights as a hobby. Just lately I've been lucky enough to find myself employed by a historic Jaguar road and racing specialist, and am keen to learn more about the cars I'm working on.
As an engineer, my interests lean towards the technical side of things, so can you recommend any literature that I could read to learn more about in period modifications that make a road car into a racer etc? Similarly, there must be information about specific Jaguar racing cars that are well documented. I've come from aviation, so moving into a different career path, I need your knowledge!
The cars I will be working on range from the C Type, through E Type, Mk1 and 2, XJC and XJS.
I hope you can help.
Many thanks,
Kurt
