Performance exhaust for 1998 4.0 XK8?

Hi all...can anyone recommend an aftermarket/performance exhaust system for my '98 XK8 4.0?....I have seen loads on ebay, between £300-£500, all promising 'custom made to order' 't304 steel used' and 'noticeable increase in growl and performance' (though none specify power gains)...Has anybody any experience of 'Quicksilver Exhausts'?...they do a full system for around £1000....and, is there much of a power difference between a system having 5 silencers in all and one having only the large 'X' centre silencer?...

They can tune it to however you like. I.e remove whichever set of silencers or reduce them.

They quoted me for a cat back full system on a 2003 4.2 XKR in 2014: £299+vat for stainless with a 10 year warranty and quoted £399 for a higher grade material which has a lifetime warranty.
