Could some one please point me in the right direction to find the comfort control unit in a Polo 6n2. One of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-POLO-6N2-COMFORT-MODU...

I've been looking around google for hours and I've just been on a wild goose chase.

I'm starting to think it hasn't got a CCM, I've I ripped most of the dash out trying to find it. The car is a 1.4 2000.

I'm having problems with the windows as they are currently stuck down. I was told they came down during the night whilst the car was locked. The reason for me thinking it's got a fault with a ccm is that you should be able to close the windows on the key, so the central locking has to be linked some how. They also both went down the same night so guess that was at the same time.

The windows are getting power as you can hear a very light click when operating the window buttons. I was thinking that it could be that they aren't getting enough power. But noticed tonight when you have the lights on you get a slight dip in beam when operating the window switch. So they must be pulling a good amount of power.

If only I could find a full wiring diagram of the car, i could work out where the problem might be.

I have read so many useless threads on outer forums not one telling you exactly where this allusive ccm is. The worse post are people asking where it is and then just posting found it with no indication of where it might be.
