Apols for lack of technical knowledge in advance.

When I drive my B7 Audi A4 it seems as though airflow into the cabin (and associated noise!) increases in line with speed. As if the vents simply channel air directly from outside.

This seems weird. Doesnt happen in my BMW, and dont recall it in previous Audis. The aircon seems to work fine.

Is something amiss?

Thanks for the reply.

So I'm correct in thinking it isn't right?

I'll check the pollen filter myself later. It's the OH's daily so I dont use it much but did a motorway run yesterday and found I had to shut the dash vents as the air was rushing through creating loads of unwanted noise.

I think this is a characteristic of the car unfortunately , I had it when I had a B7, most noticeable on motorways. used to drive me mad! I used to direct the air to the foot well as it couldn’t be heard then.
Oh man, seriously??

I hope you are wrong but...

I didn't get to check yesterday as the rain didn't let up at all but will report back.
