Looking at a May 2008 RS6. Dealer tells me the service history is:

2010: 21k miles
2012: 30k miles
2014: 37k miles

Should the amount of mileage and time prior to the first service be of concern to me, because it does kind of stand out? To me it looks like a service was done very late, or is the 2 year interval thing the way these cars are serviced??

Thanks

(also, does anyone know if Audi would offer the option to take out a warranty for the car? It's currently with a non-Audi dealership)

So the 20k before the first service isn't an issue? The cars I've owned previously were all service by a certain date or mileage, depending on which came first. Is the Audi plan different?

Yeah just seemed a little odd that whoever owned the car at the time (when the price they paid would've been considerably higher than it is now) didn't get the car serviced at the "correct" time (ok, not correct in terms of time, but surely mileage?)

It's the only thing causing me to think twice about the car (that and no reversing camera, but that's just me being pedantic!)

It supposedly has a remap (which I really want/need!) but no documentation to prove this.
Again, slightly annoying.

Agree. I asked the salesman over the phone if there is any documentation to back up the claims of a remap.

"I've driven other RS6's and this one is a lot faster!"

Really?(!)
