advice for buying an Audi A3

Would appreciate any advice regarding buying a new Audi A3 Sportback. I haven't bought a car from a dealer in 20 years so I'm sure I'm totally out of the loop. I would just like to know if its possible to get a better deal than the listed price? The salesman said 85% of customers finance their cars through pcp? I'm able to pay for the car without finance, but was quite impressed by his sales patter as to the benefits of being able to change the car regularly with pcp.

The salesman said he couldn't show me any examples of finance, because every car is different..

Is there a cheapest way to buy an Audi or do I just have to agree to everything I'm told? and is pcp better than just buying it?

Thanks for the advice all. I don't think PCP will be the way to go for me although it could have been if they did 0% like some other manufactures. I'll have a look at drivethedeal.com, its really all about trying to get the best price now.
