2009 Audi A4 Burning Oil

Hi, I have a 2009 Audi A4 Quattro S-line 2.0T Petrol and I noticed that its burning oil big time. I've taken a note of the mileage and the amount of oil I've been putting in and I've work out that its roughly 1 litre per 750 miles. The car has done 75K miles and it appears to be using more and more oil. I have Googled the problem and read some horror stories about the 2 litre petrol engine burning vast amounts of oil but 1 litre every 750 miles is not good news surely?

Anyone got any advice or should I just punt the car on?

I've read a number of posts now and I think I'll just need to sell it on. I have dealt with dealers before and there is no way I have the will power to fight it out with them. Shame as its the best car I have ever owned but I think its time to say bye bye Audi
