Audi B7 S4 - Miltek non resonated exhaust
Discussion
So I am still toying with the idea of increasing V8 sound on my S4 and wanted some opinions about how loud and potentially droney, intrusive the Non resonated Miltek exhaust would be? I have an auto car, which i am told makes the exhaust drone a bit, is this the case and if so how bad is it? Also how much louder is the non resonated exhaust than standard?
Lastly does anyone know if the exhaust would invalidate my Audi warranty, the main dealer I bought from said it wouldn't, but thought i'd double check!
thanks

Thanks for the replies, I think the Resonated is sounding good then, AMD did warn me it might drone at idle, low speeds with an auto box, and i like the rich sounds the standard has but just want louder, but not blaring chavvy style, it's my daily driver so need it useable, my 996 turbo provides my weekend toy thrills!
Well that certainly looks good, although the tips do stick out quite a bit...? What's the 'drone' like at idle, low speeds, they mentioned to me it's quite loud on autos', what do you think?
I was in a car park the other day and the standard exhaust sounded ferocious, how much louder is the non res? Does it keep the character of the standard exhaust only turn up the volume, or is it a different sound?
thanks

Thanks for the update Barry, the shortened tips look much much better, still debating whether to go for it or not, don't think the drone puts me off, as the benefits will out way the drone.....does it keep the growly, woofly V8 character to the sound, rather than a blarring boy racer generic loud exhaust, I am really after V8 with the volume turned up
