S5 post wheel alignment issues
Discussion
I've done a quick google, but wondered if anyone had recent experiences.
2 new front tyres fitted, then a full wheel alignment done. Approx 200 miles later, Dynamic steering fault flashes up followed by ESP fault and Brake Guard not available. Steering wheel is now approx 1/8 turn out when driving in a straight line.
Seems I have to go to Audi and have wheel angle sensor reset??
Car is in New Zealand, so can't take to any UK Indies
Any thoughts?

Thanks guys, still not solved yet. Took car to local VW dealer (Audi service agent), they plugged in and tried to do a reset on steering, but because steering wheel is now off centre their computer won't let them reset the steering angle sensor. So took car to wheel aligners to double check, but all still within spec, nothing loose.
Car back at the VW garage now.
Further googling found one guy have a dynamic steering module on an RS5 fail and throw up same codes and offset the steering wheel!!!
We shall see.

Fixed by doing a 'Basic Setting" of the Dynamic Steering system.
Wheel alignment was fine, just wasn't done when connected to a computer system with VAGcom or similar.
No one seems to believe me that when the Fault flashed up when manoeuvring in a car park the steering wheel "moved itself" to be offset by approx 1/8 of a turn....Have only found 1 other believer on t internet with a steering fault on an RS5

Wow, thanks for the info.
Shame I'm a 5 hour drive away from a proper Audi/Indie garage. The place I had the wheel alignment done is considered the best local place for Euro cars, but when they plugged my car in the list of Audis stopped at 2004!!
400+ miles over the weekend and all seems fine now anyway.
Cheers, Alex
