2.0 CR TDi fuel filter change
Discussion
Hi,
I'm reading on the interweb that you must use VCDS to run the fuel pump(s) after replacing the fuel filter. Is having VCDS 100% necessary?
Is there a DIY trick of locking/unlocking and opening the door to replicate this without VCDS? Or simply just fill the new filter with diesel?
Also the websites I found saying you must do this VCDS procedure show a different fuel filter setup with 4 connections. Mine only has 2.
Asking cos I'm planning a DIY fuel filter change and don't have VCDS.
2010 engine, CFHD engine code.
thanks for any guidance
