Don't suppose anybody has a parts diagram (with parts numbers) for the rear brakes on a C6 RS6. Just need to identify a part and see if it's an easy swap or if I should get it done at the next service. Part is a rear disc cover plate if anyone has swapped one out before and has any hints.

I'm not holding my breath for the dealer offering to do it at a reasonable price after quoting me £250 in labour to change the front pads during the service. Seems a bit excessive when the car is already up on the ramp with the wheels off.

The lotus (and porsche) had a great parts website at DeRoure but I can't seem to find anything similar for Audi.

Cheers for the link, exactly what I was after.

It's to replace the disc shield between the disc and the hub. Looks like the disc might need to come off to access the bolts. Item 12 in the link below.

The pads are for the front which should be as easy as any other vehicle.

The back-plate came loose on mine during my trackday so I replaced it about week ago and know the procedure.
Cheers

Mine is rattling around so I suspect it's separated at the bolts and probably only held on by one or two.
