Wonder if anyone can help me?

Am looking at getting a biturbo and would like to know what your mileage and average mpg is over that period. Would think that the older and most recent engines will be similar?

Should be listed in the long term memory in the car?

Recent VW issues are pulling me away from the brand, wonder how long term residuals as a result of brand damage will fare.

Any responses re mpg would be appreciated.

Beleive it or not, I have a 2.0tdi Ultra and I only get 39mpg over 10k miles. Had loads of manual 2.0 tdi but this is an auto and i just cannot get on with it.

The 8 speed is an different animal to the 7 speed in my car, its the way mine takes off from standstill I have an issue with. Seemed ok at first but now its very unresponsive, unlike the 8 speed in the biturbo.

Pity really as mine is the 15MY car but it has to go. I think that given the right circumstances you could hurt yourself in it.

Entering a flowing roundabout from standstill is one scenario where I could see myself getting injured.

Looked at other marques but I really like my Audi as a daily driver - looks like biturbo will be ordered.........

Worst thing about this is that when you ask Audi about the laggy take off in the 2,0 tdi, nobody will admit to any fault with the car. I was told to feed the power in which, in normal use may be ok but there are times when it is not safe to do this ie merging into traffic is a fast flowing roundabout

I set off from a junction and was nearly hit in the side - it was really busy and one of those situations where road rage from others would easily set in if you didn't go!

Am really now questioning do I stay with Audi???

Have had loads of Audis and never had an issue - that said this is the first auto I have had.

Not seen many biturbo's for sale but I have one specific requirement and that is a towbar to tow my car trailer.

I have always bought new and spec'd them to suit me........just had in my head that I would have this one for 2 years, not 6 months!

Ordered one just after I posted as I cannot get on with my 2.0 Diesel auto that I took delivery of in March this year.

Now wondering if I might have been better not bothering as all the reasons I was buying the BiTurbo may have gone out the window if they mess with its settings for these emissions issues??
