Golf R standard two-colour alloy wheel refurb

anyone had the black and silver alloys on their Golf R refurbed successfully? I hear they might be a pain of a job due to the part-paint?

argh. so is it a new wheel needed realistically?? it is quite scraped... maybe i just get it refurbed before i hand it back!

I'm in the north west. A new wheel can't be much more than £200 surely?

check the fair wear and tear guide - you might be OK with scrapes up to 10cm anyway. I paid £85 a wheel from a local firm who did a polish job rather than a full repaint. Good enough.
