Hi All,

Was looking through some RS4's for sale, I still like to dream! I saw a B7 version with 229k mileage on it. I know modern engines can go forever if look after properly. Do you think this would be the same or a money pit?

I can imagine how expensive they are to run. I have never seen a B7 RS4 for that price but tbh if it was my money I would rather spend the extra on a lower mileage one. What mileage do you reckon they are good for?

Thats a very good point, you would need a mortgage for that amount of fuel!

This popped up on RS246 the other day. Someone quite rightly pointed out that it has probably cost more to fuel that mileage than the original bill of sale.

As mentioned above, I'd sooner look at Cat D examples before opting for one with mileage like that.

Do you have a link - if its a dark blue car, then I know it well and it is well worth the money...

It has been maintained to an unbelievably high standard and has some very tasty additional extras....
