Golf R leasers - best or worst choice ever? What next?

Guys,

I must say I'm loving mine after 12 months. Great car, no niggles, no stress and motors when you need to.

I look at the current deals and don't think I would have been so enthusiastic as to sign up for one.

What's your findings?

What you lookin to move into?

Is the megane leased or purchased? Sounds interesting if a bit hardcore for an old git like myself.

I didn't want a dsg either, the deals on the estate tho don't seem to be amazing.

For around 7 grand over 2 years 10k per anumm I don't see much jumping out at me of late.

I must add I looked at the overall mpg yesterday and its showing less than 25 which to be fair I was expecting. I'd not say they were as economical as we are lead to believe.
