Partner just bought a second hand A3. Been trying to get the SD card reader to recognise a SD card I've prepared with music on. It's fat32 but it's not being recognised..Any ideas?
Cheers
Not sure if all Audi are the same but make sure the songs are in mp3 format and not iTunes AAC on the SD Card.Cheers
Mk1 RNS-E accepts to up 4GB nonHC SD cards only - difficult to find
Mk2 RNS-E (silver power button and 'media' rather than 'cd/tv' marking) accepts up to 32GB SDHC
Newer than that will almost certainly also be limited to 32GB SDHC unless it's only a couple of years old, when you might find 64GB cards accepted.
As above, FAT32 format and mp3 files only
eta: D'oh! just seen your title says it's 13 plate. Won't be RNS-E then and should accept 32GB as a bare minimum.
