Hi All

Some local toe-rag decided to break in to the other half's A3 cabriolet by cutting a slit in the roof.

Anyone know of where to get a replacement roof? (2009 A3 Cabriolet, blue roof with grey lining). Have tried ebay and various parts locator sites with no luck...

Cheers

Andrew

Had a replacement hood fitted to my wife's S4 by Car Hood Warehouse in Chessington a couple of years ago.

Made a lovely job, travelled up from Somerset and they fitted it while I waited, which was around 4 to 5 hours IIRC.

Still looks good as new and the glass rear window bond is guaranteed for life.

Thanks for the link - gave them a call but sadly they don't do a3 cabriolet ones.

It's worth the drive to Swansea.

I read lots of positive things on forums about Jack before getting my S2000 done a few months ago. £290 all in for a new fitted mohair roof that's better than the original.
Thanks, but tried him this morning - can't repair a split audi roof apparrantly.

Why are you not using the insurance company for this?
A new roof from Audi has got to be the way to go, the excess is probably only £250 which is much cheaper than the prices you've being quoted so far in this thread.
Excess is £400, and the loss of 8 years no claims bonus.

You'll not lose 8 years bonus, even if not protected.

At worst they'll step you back 2 years, you don't lose it all. Have you asked them?
Just asked and they will only deduct two years- I just assumed the lot would be lost! Thanks for suggestion!
