Hi
Thought id start this as a few of us have taken some deals recently on the Cupra / Cupra Black Leons.

Ordered today, due september 5DR DSG in Dynamic Grey, went direct to Birmingham Seat, got a deal thats about £80 more than the CVL one but they are taking my Leon FR off me for a really decent price.

Just need to tell the wife now eek might hang on till September and surprise her

Popped into the dealer yesterday to do the finance, all accepted and ordered from the factory, I think on paper the deal is about 300 more than CVL over the term but I'm getting cash back from thier contribution and my car taken in for about £1k more than wbac at today's price.

They had a white one and a dynamic grey in the showroom, really glad I went for the grey now.

Dynamic Grey, I thought I'd typed that my fault :-)

Had a Black Mk1 Cupra R, Got a white Mk2 FR+ now so makes a change.

Great link! I have been questioning my colour choice of Monsoon (hatch) also but having had a look at the official pics in the link I think I made the right choice, I like the way it looks with the black detailing.
I know what you mean. I was thinking the same. They're all nice colours, that's what makes it so hard to decide smile

Out of interest, are any of you guys going to get any accessories from Seat? Think I'll get the rubber floor mats and the boot liner tray thingy for the dog
My current leon came with a boot liner, they are brilliant, just take it out and hose it off!!

Not that they are needed so to speak but really like the headlight wash on both my cars now, you can't even have it as an option on the black cupra, probably because they are part of the winter pack, the free heated seats will have to compensate

Yes, partial 'leather' too. biggrin So much kit for the money...heated bucket seats, nav with carplay/android auto/mirror link, front/rear parking sensors, dynamic chassis control, metallic paint, automatic lights, automatic wipers, 19 inch alloys, 290bhp, electric folding mirrors, decent exhaust note, climate control and the list goes on.
Fantastic news smile

I had read that the my17 Cupra's come with heated seats but I asked Keith at CVL and he didn't think they did so I wasn't sure but now that you've confirmed it that clears it up
Its only the "Black" spec that come with heated seats, normal Cupra you need winter pack :-)

Can someone outline the spec difference between the Cupra and the Cupra Black - thanks.

Also any photos of the bucket seats against the regular ones?

Thanks

David
Sorted this via the online brochures:

- Bucket seat (heated)
- 19" multispoke wheels
- "Black" styling kit

Are the buckets as wide as the regular seat?

D
This is a picture I took when in the dealer last week, this was an unregistered Black edition, so the same as ours.

I wouldn't worry, I've not heard from the dealer since I was there Thursday, last email just says basically it has been ordered.

With all my company cars I used to get a weekly automated update with progress and stage, I don't expect that from a dealer system but you boys might get that going through a lease company.

First Vehicle Leasing seem to be offering good deals on the Cupra Black still, the standard Cupra is also available for a few quid more monthly. These are hatch only though , the ST Cupras are a fair bit more.
Had I known this before going with CVL I might have gone for the standard Cupra as I prefer the alloys to the 'Black' wheels.

https://www.firstvehicleleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/...
CVL still have the deal on the non DSG model one too, must have got rid of the allocation of DSG's wink

I dont like the cupra wheels, it was the balck wheels that really persuaded me this was the opne to go for, i was hesitant on the normal Cupra about 6 weeks ago, same price pretty much as this deal, so glad i never committed.

Not sure about you lot but i keep looking at the leasing deals now, worried for the next 2 years a better deal will come out scratchchin

I generally don't like diamond cut wheels just as a preference and the hassle of repair. However, as VWFS only charge £36 per damaged wheel on return i couldn't really care less.
I've got a Cupra Black on order (can't wait), but was a little bit concerned about the diamond cut alloys and problems refurbishing with these. £36 per damaged wheel seems cheap - is that based on past experience and was that for a VW group car with diamond cut alloys?
Quite interested in this too, my wife has a good track record of ruining wheels

Based on our contracted 5k miles the cars will probably beg for 2 services. The services are pretty cheap so it's not a massive issue. My first service cost £134 and included them collecting and returning the car. Second service is only a little over £200.

You can always return the car early to save doing a second service and possibly a few tyres. This is what I'm doing with the golf. The Cupra is set to be delivered 3 months before the golf is due to return. Early termination costs 55% of remaining payments. So I'll make 1.5 months payments and avoid paying for the other 1.5 months + 2 tyres + the second service. How's that for man maths?
Love man maths like that, my life runs on a man maths excel sheet :-)

I must admit my first personal lease and I'm a bit underwhelmed, not had any correspondence from anyone since I went in and signed, with my company cars I love the build up as you get emails at least once a week with a status update.

My last 2 cars (company) have been on low loaders, 1 with 7 miles on the other with 12, nothing better!

I'm picking mine up from the dealer so will hopefully have less than 10 on!!

Part of the problem with weekly or bi weekly updates with any VAG car is how long their lead time is. Last time I ordered a BMW there was a significant bit of news every week, delivery took 5 weeks from order.

With my golf it was a case of nothing for a month, then a build slot was allocated, then 3 months later they built the bloody thing in a day and before I knew it it was at the dealers.
Yeah that true, my bmw I ordered end of July and every week changed, got delivered in the September, my latest Audi was ordered in July and didn't get a buildslot till December!!

Does anyone know of ay deals still available on these? I'm after a 5 door DSG 290, flexible on other spec items. my local dealer says stocks are very limited, I have contacted somne online lease companies but had no response at all from them.

Thanks!
I think the DSG model deal is gone now, seems manual is still about although not as cheap as they were, CVL for on is still showing a hal decent price, happy to give you the details of my sales guy in Birmingham, he understands the leasing side unlike some dealers.

I follow various groups being a Leon faithful and know last year they had supply issues with Cupra wheels but that was model specific, cant see that being an issue now though, I don't think they get that many orders for Cupras day to day so maybe they cant cope? I cant remember a flash sale on the Cupras before.

FL is due next year, also rumors of a Cupra R, was thinking this might be why they have done the deal on these? or the parts bin is full of bucket seats they cant sell haha so need a clear out
