The tyre pressures are fine , but the light is on and won't reset. The car is booked in for a service & first MOT next month. Am I OK to leave it until then? I had two new fron tyres fitted last week, but had done 100 miles before the light came on yesterday afternoon.

2007 Golf Gti Edition 30, btw.

Press and hold the Set button until the light goes out. The light has come on because the rolling radius of the wheels have changed with the new tyres. Hope that helps.

I've tried pressing and holding the set button, but the light comes on again as soon as I release the button

Off to the dealer for a warranty claim?
Due its first MOT so I'm having it all done at the VW dealer in case there are any warranty issues

Ok I just sat in a friends GTI and he has a similar problem. I held the button and initially the light goes out and comes back on, what you're experiencing? That's normal and you hold it until you hear a bong and it should go out.
I'll try that tomorrow. How long do you need to hold it down before you hear the bong?
Do you need the engine running?
