16" Tyres....again

Hi

I need 4 tyres for my Griffith - 16 inch all round, but there appears to be nothing available at the moment apart from the Bridgestones which I don't want. Tried Toyo Direct, Camskill, Black Circles and others and nothing.

Car is SORN at the moment so no mad rush but I am starting to think about getting a set of SP12s.

Are there any other supply options that I'm missing?

I can't see things getting any better in future so I am looking at buying new 17" alloys. Not sure I like the SP12s that much though.

Sidewall on the Bridgestone is too stiff apparently.

In the end I have been able to get a set of Toyo Proxes in the correct sizes over the last couple of weeks. I got the fronts from Amazon of all places and put on the refurbished front Estorils by Lepsons. The rears were from mytyres and will be put on the rears by a local fitter next week.

So good for another few years with wheels as it left the factory. Back on the road at the end of the month.
