Alarm / Immobiliser

My Griff's still got the original Meta 98T alarm / immobiliser - but it's starting to play up. Can you let me have suggestions on the best and simplest (like for like) upgrade I can perform. If you have the wiring diagrams to go with the switch that would be brilliant. If by-passing the alarm / immobiliser is an option I might even consider that - wiring diagrams again if poss.

Thanks Ian I'll follow that up. I've just checked the documents I received when I bought the car (15 years ago) - the alarm is a Meta 96T, if anyone can shed any light on the system.

Thanks for all your inputs guys. I've got some wiring diagrams now, I'll see how I get on with these but have your contact suggestions to fall back on.
