Heater Valve Motor unavailable
Discussion
ok. so I have read lots of posts about the early Griff heater valve problems but I can't find any that have a good alternative solution.
The heater valve motor on my '92 Griff has given up the ghost and according to Crouzet who made it in the first place it was a special automotive application that they have deleted from their catalog and there is no alternative!
TVR Parts (or Clever Trever) listed it as available but that was not apparently true
Racetech have the motor itself but with out the potentiometer which is also apparently not available any more.
So, my question is... has anyone managed to work out or design a better, more elegant, solution to retrofit to an early Griff?

Hi Alex.I actually ordered this and then got my payment refunded because they don't actually have them even though they are listed on the site

Not cheap and difficult to fit the potentiometer in the panel but works great
Available at http://arnoldscustomsandclassics.com/system-access...
Thanks Dave. That looks interesting. Its actually cheaper than the motor unit from Racetech!http://www.vintageair.com/DownloadsSection/Parts%2...
