Exhaust sealant - Y Piece

Has anyone got any good recommendations for some exhaust gasket paste that actually works?
I'm just about to refit the Y-piece to the manifolds on a 500 and whatever I try leaks within a couple of months.

I've just ordered some fire proof black sealant off ebay
I'll see how it goes!
