leather or carpet?

Re-trimming my Griff but need a little help choosing which door card I should go with, Leather or carpet?
What do you think?

I agree that it is a little bland. There is a grain that doesn't show on the leather and I would add some stiching to match the seats. Still like the contrast of the wool though.

Made my descion and went ahead with the carpet!
Next job is to fit the Aluminum Dash when it arrives from Peter.

I don't think its not real carbon. Looks a bit like a wrap. Will have a closer look and let you know. I have always loved the look of the brushed aluminuim dash that was offered as an option on the later cars. I personally love the wood as well but don't think the colour of veneer goes well with burgundy leather. Aluminum should lift the burgundy I hope! Not seen a burgundy/aluminum combination on a griff before, so if anyone has a photo that would be great?

Have had a good look but still not sure of its construction until I remove it. My new dash doesnt arrive until the end of May. Will let you know either way.
