Well I have been thinking quite a bit now on the fact I will need to replace my lt77 gearbox ! As I was thinking of going the t5 way the costs and tat arsing about the simplistic way is to fit the r380 ? As these are fitted to landies and trucks and are given loads of stick I think it will be good enough to rip 380 ponies through it pulling just over a ton of tvr ??
My question is will my bits fit ie the gear change mechanism ? I have been told the box will fit the prop bell housing and speed thingy with no other mods as these boxes are about 475 exchange this would be a good bet
Your opinions please :-)

Hi Ste
http://www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk/manual-gea... are LT77/R380 specialists if that helps.
Thanks I have been in touch with these guys they said something about my linkage that they don't have one but not explained enough , I guess I will work this out myself and take the gearbox down to the Landover specialist and make a comparison or see if my linkage will fit straight on to the r380 ?

I have an LT77 rebuilt about 1k miles ago by Gravesend transmissions cost over £500... Open to offers, will come with new oil. The linkage should only need new bushes which you can get from Rimmers or the likes.
