Griff Respray/Retrim
Discussion
I posted this on FB earlier this week but in the interests of sharing am posting here also.
My pre-cat Griff 4.3 was at Option 1 during December for a full body respray before going to Dave the Trimmer for an interior makeover. I haven't seen it in person myself yet but from the pics and the feedback I received from Dave I think it looks fantastic (being biased of course).
Following are some pics taken before the beast was loaded onto a transport for its journey to Dave.
Will update with this with more as the interior progresses.

Thankyou for all of your great comments.
I was tempted to change the exterior colour (my first TVR was a Chimp in Antique Turquoise Starmist) but then decided to keep it as per the original owners handbook (Starfire Mica Blue) and I thnk Frank has done a nice job.
I have to speak to Dave and confirm how to handle the interior but I am probably going to stay with the original theme of Blue with Magnolia (or perhaps Ivory). with some slight updates such as seamed/quilted leather doorcards, tweeters to replace the ashtrays, etc. but not too drastic of a change. Just a simple refresh of a classic.
Also looking forward to getting the new dash from Pete Griff which should set everything off nicely

Sorry to OP for thread hi-jack. Very nice car sir and looks great. Looking forward to seeing what you decide to do with the interior.
No need to apologise Mr. Poxon.Your interior is an inspiration (very similar to the one I have now except your looks so much better).
I think once Dave has finished we will be closer although I suspect with the Cerbera seats yours will still outshine.
Following is the current interior. I have already changed the seats back to the originals (which need a refurb and is the original reason I went to Dave who convinced me more needed doing!) and I would like a bit darker blue also.

Hey Paul I went to see your Griff at TopCats two years ago and the interior had recently been refurbished, your having it replaced now?
Yes, you know how it is. I have been doing bits and pieces but I really didn't like the seats. They did my back in something horrible and I was actually in bed for 5 days unable to move after a week driving through Wales etc. So I wanted the original seats back in and went to Dave to get them refurbed. I was also thinking about replacing the carpet doorcards with leather and before you know it I have a complete retrim booked!
To be honest, the trim wasn't the best quality. Driving it you start to see all the flaws especially around the dash, and windscreen surround etc.
Since this is a keeper for me I don't mind spending the extra to get the interior I want on top of the body I now have (pity I cant say the same about myself ... it isn't as easy for the human body!).
