Any experience with Ebay Air flow meters ?

Hi,

I did the voltage check on my AFM (Griff 500 from 1997) and it took some time for it to stabilise at 0.34 V. I would like to try a new AFM to know if it improves the running of my car. (feels hesitant under acceleration). There are several offers on ebay for 50 GBP - any experience or where can I get a reasonably priced AFM ?
