I'm thinking of a biscuit interior re-trim and wondered if anyone has some pictures they could post and share please? My car is dark blue

Perfect. My griff currently has a blue dash and was wondering should I keep it blue or change to match seats. Currently it's magnolia but it's tatty as is the blue sun bleached carpets. In my head I'm thinking stay traditional but otherside says new body colour and funky interior. Traditional is winning at the mo smile

This is my dilemma. If I go the traditional colours ie star mist blue and biscuit interior with a re veneered wood dash I think it's a car that's easier to sell on if in the future I fancy a change.
My other train of thought is that I have a chance to change the body colour and interior that is a bit more modern so to speak. That path I'm thinking a colour called silk violet which is a grey/blue mauve/purple with perhaps a Portland grey interior with dark grey carpets and either a machined or carbon dash.
If I go with the silk violet it will be a one off colour combo but would it detract from it not being the original build colour if I came to selling it as I have all documents from when the car was new. I've owned it for the last 13 years.
Either way it's kinda exciting to get my griff looking brand new again smile
Below are two sample pictures of silk violet. It's a standard Vauxhall colour

It's been said many times before - paint it to suit you, not the next owner.
Yep, that makes sense and I'm going to go the different colour/interior route. smile

Silk Violet looks fantastic on a Griff....... I kept looking at one that was for sale, but it only had 4l engine, and I was desperate for a 4.3.

Fromm memory that had a deep burgundy red interior....... someone called Bernard ended up with it I think..... but seen him about for ages.

As for biscuit... just been through al my photos and realised I don't have any clear photos of the interior, despite it having new carpets and dash fitted so 10 years ago
I've plumped for a silk violet re-colour now with a Portland grey interior. Not sure on dash yet. Machined stainless or possibly a painted dash in silkviolet or airbrushed and lacquered with a flying Union Jack 🇬🇧.
