Rear hub / driveshaft seal

Yes it does look and feel like oil but it's seperated from the grease in the cv joint.
If it were me i'd degrease the affected area and either take it back to the tester and explain there's no where oil can leak from in this area or take it to a tester that knows TVR's
Have you checked the shocker for leaks?
Is the clamp on the CV boot tight?
Are the drive shaft fixings to the outer hub tight?
Would it be coming through the hub? How is it prevented ( a seal failed?)If it were me i'd degrease the affected area and either take it back to the tester and explain there's no where oil can leak from in this area or take it to a tester that knows TVR's

No signs of leaking from the cv boot. Shock ok. Nipped up the bolts on the cv plate to hub and cleaned it up. They were already tight (36 ftlb is the quoted setting I think but I tightened them more)
Cv boot looks fine and clips tight- no sign of leaking.
I guess it will pass now, but would like to fix it really. The other side looked similar but not as bad.
Thanks
9 years. Never touched that area so don’t know what’s in it. Assumed it would be packed with grease? Never heard of anything like that being filled with oil. Don’t want to disturb the cv boot as it’s in good condition (looks like last owner put new on during rebuild)
Never heard of grease separating, so really puzzled on this one.
I was expecting it to be diff oil running down the driveshaft, but not the case.

Can't be your diff, if a drive or prop shaft seal is leaking, oil will drip down from the diff proper............you've establish it ain't your shocks..........carbon grease from the CVs will not seperate.........that'll leave you with the wheel-bearing cavities............I would agree with the previous post, if a bearing problem is there you /MOT peep should notice problems. Clean up the oil, have it MOT and keep a close eye on it (if problems persists, renew the wheel bearings/repack)
Passed MOT today after clearing it up. Must be wheel bearing grease over time, so I guess it needs a new seal. Will do it and re grease it ( don’t want the wheel bearing going). Thanks for all the advice!
