Had an incident over the weekend ending in a swinging mirror from the drivers side....

Went into my local TVR garage and got them to order one asap (£160 parts un painted). They can then strip mine and rebuild it without the need to paint.

Found out this am that TVR no longer supply these mirrors for us and have no stock. I know they are Citeron designed and bread, and the production will be passed to another company for manufactuer..

Any ideas where I can get one?
Also it is rumoured that Mclaren F1 uses these mirrors (I can't beleive that )

Cheers

Know the Mirror is from a Citroen CX25 and XM Series car..

Citroen service dealership is not sure about the model.

Any TVR breakers details that I can ring?

Well it would be rude not to ask........

How is the XJ220? Any photos? ..Have absolutely no idea of what they are like and just interested.

Nope........... thought it was the collar and flexible bit...

Then on closer inspection the bit that snapped was the metal frame actually in the mirror

M@H.... Its my first ever miracle ........

Remaining on my door is the collar, flexible neck and the screw with a piece of the actual mirror still on it.

Looking in the mirror I can see where its snapped off............

Exspect the unexspected
