Has anyone any suggestion to fit high end audio subwoofer with deep structure in a Griffith ?

I see two places :

either on the parcel shelf (in an enclosure) but I would prefer not to sacrify it. Have somebody tried this solution ? If we built a curvaceous enclosure , why not.

either in the pannel separating the cabin from the trunck but in this case, the sub has to work in an infinite baffle configuration.

Do you see other places in the car ?

Have you any suggestion regarding the best subwoofer for this car ?

For this instance, I have Audiom 6 for the mid + Focal TLR for the tweeter but I seriously miss bass.

After trying Aliante from Phase Linear (slim structure) by not convinced (fast but not warm deep enough) I was seduced by the 10' W7 from JL.

I really like the sound (deep and fast) but you know the problem because the deep structure....

I am an audiophile enthusiast but I prefer not to sacrify the TVR design.

I have contacted a guy from Genesis car audio in the UK who had a TVR.

He suggests using a 6 x 9 speaker.

Quote

"We have a 6 x 9 sub which is better suited to installation in the boot.

These are usually supplied in pairs and one can be fitted each side wherethe air vent is situated.

The 6 x 9 woofers are designed as a proper sub and will reproduce down to
40Hz with low distortion. I had a single free air mounted 8" in my griff as
the 6x9's had not been developed at that point.
This worked well and provided good levels of bass for my music taste. The 6
x 9 was originally developed for the new Mini but has found applications in
a number of cars where there is no space for a woofer box.

In the Mini the frequency response is within +/- 3dB to 40Hz. Below this it
rolls off at 12dB/ octave. The Griff has a smaller cabin so you may get bass
extension at lower frequencies when the roof is on, and similar performance
to the Mini when the roof is off.

The bass in the Mini is very fast and musical and this is helped by the subs
being as close as the front speakers to your ears so there is no time delay.
The same situation would apply in the Griff." Unquote.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your comments.

Can we possibly use the front wheel despite of the battery ?

or can we made a hole in the parcel shelf. Is there space available below the parcel shelf ? Perhaps, this last question is stupid ?

As far as mid are concerned, I have seen the Görlich in Germany but unfortunately, the dealer have not allowed me to test them. Are they really superior to the others ? What do they have of so particular ? Is the difference in price justified ?

Yes ,Genesis made speakers, in particular new GENESIS 10 and 12 inch sub. According to the German representative, that will work with the GÖRLICH speakers. This woofers are released 14 days ago and the results seems excellent

Thanks your your help.

Sorry I don't see the place except if this is located in the boot, just above the tank (but only 6' deep)

Do you see other place (around the rear wheel arch connecting withy the boot) ? A guy suggests me this place but I don't find where it is.

Thanks
