I've had my Range rover for 6 months, driven 7k miles, and I simply love every aspect of if - apart from setting off from a standing start.
I'm not looking for launch control level of performance, I just want to start moving when i press the pedal. The delay can be quite embarrassing when waiting at a roundabout. The "gap" that was there suddenly isn't any more.

I have read about all sorts of tuning/chip modifications. Will these sort it? Which do you recommend? Will these affect my LR warranty or insurance?

I live near Reading, and gather that Rovertune have a good reputation. Has anyone had their RR "performance enhancing packing"?

Thanks for your feedback

Thanks Piersman, thats reassuring to know.

Have booked in at Rovertune for an initial diagnostic check, and they'll let me know if their tuning service will address my symptoms.

Thanks for the feedback chaps.
Just to clarify, i'm not looking to race away from the lights (I have a toy that does that rather well would i choose to employ boy racer mode!), I just don't want that lag/hesitation when i press the accelerator from standstill. I'll try the "sport mode" tip, however it may well be this is a "feature" of the turbo, and i'll have to learn to live with it.
