install a 4.2 supercharged of l322 in to my range rover 1982

Yesterday a friend told me he`s demolishing his l322 Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged.
Am i going to face problems with the electronics if i try to mount his engine and ECU in my old Range Rover Classic?
Have you ever done something like this?

I have seen range rover classic with the engine ls3 ... so I think that nothing is impossible

IIRC, the Jag engine is taller than the LS3.
