Followed a new one of these along some fast b roads on Saturday evening. Its quite nippy. Had to give the TVR a few revs to keep up. What really surprised me though was how flat it cornered at speed. Amazing car. It really took me by surprise in a long and tight bumpy bend.

They are things of wonder.
I see you like your Astons. My neighbour has at least 16 of the things (plus lots of other cars) albeit they are mostly much older than your cars. He is determined NOT to let me drive them :-)

I'm with GC on the SVR. Pointless vehicle but I still really want one. I have rarely taken my disco's off road and even then its been just a rutted green lane rather than anything difficult. Even managed to get the D2 stuck in the mud trying to tow a horse box up a slight incline with AT2's. The discos have been a godsend in the snow (I live in semi-rural, very hilly peak district) and a normal car or even a land rover with normal tyres wouldnt have been useable. So an SVR would probably be a bit rubbish in the snow what with sporty tyres. Chains or even 'spike spiders' are a faff.

Was probably Michael Vaughan returning from visiting another house wife. wink

Cracking looking cars and while the Cayenne Turbo may or may not be faster, it's not tall enough to really be an SUV these days, much more a crossover in that dynamic. Plus, being Porsche, I suspect that by the time you've added some basic options like a steering wheel, seats or body the price will be higher still. And finally, seeing as Range Rover are the daddies of the luxury SUV market it only seems logical to have a mental, road focussed car.

Nah he's in Baslow. His wife had a go at me once as I followed my mountain biking pal up a side road and into the courtyard outside his house (as my friend wanted to show me where Michael lives). Cricket obviously didnt pay well but the free LR products do help I guess.

Ah, they must have moved Baslow quite recently as it was always on the way between Hathersage and Bakewell. wink
As I live there..... baslow is a left turn at Calver. If you are coming from Hathersage through Grindleford you would go via Hassop and not via Baslow to Bakewell. :-)
