Bought this over the weekend. On the body where it's flaked, it appears to be white, with maybe a green/blue and now this red colour.

Is it a standard defender colour? Got a few patches I'm wanting to either touch up, or just respray the whole thing at home.
Whoever painted it before didn't mask up well, red paint sprayed over bits in the engine bay!

Thank you.

Looking at the bulkhead it is white, with a blue then a green and now finally red on top.
Its been painted at home for sure, big runs and flaking all over where i doubt it was sanded.

How much time and paint cost do you reckon to respray the thing at home?

I have access to a compressor and spray gun etc, just not a proper booth, would be in a shed.

Rather spray it as I would like to clear coat it so it remains shiny for longer.

Was looking at that new Range Rover paint, the dark red. Is it possible to get hold of this colour?

Sorry for picture quality, compressed pictures from my ad

In the end I bought a machine polisher and got this, pretty pleased

Slightly more than "just" a polish.

Polished the rear door, removed it and took it down to a local paint place and got them to match up a spray can of the same colour.

Used to spray the missing paint patches at the bases of doors and such.
