Disco 4 Purchase

I have decided to upgrade our family bus (Galaxy 08 plate), I have test driven a few cars over the past week, including Jeep Grand Cherokee, New Galaxy (nice but I fancy a change), VW Tourag, Q7 & Disco 4 HSE (2015). Having 3 kids with occasional lift duties means I need 7 seats, the Disco ticks all the boxes. My wife also had a Disco test drive today and she loved it, so I have a GREEN light

I have also tried a SE Tech without the sunroofs and decided I missed the extra light they give, so that will be a min requirement. I am also looking at the later, lower car tax bracket versions to help keep running costs down.

So I have narrowed it down to a SE TECH with sunroof or a HSE late 2013 onwards, budget is circa £40k or lower if possibe.

Anyone have any recomedations on who to buy from, with good experiences in the south of England, although I will travel further for the right car.

Thanks for the tip, I will check that site out. I've also been looking at HSE 2012 onwards with the 8 speed box, as they're around 7-10k cheaper, (which will easily cover my new Tam interior) the only difference seems to be the older lights and the slight improvement in economy. Will post some links up later, however they don't seem to hang around for long!

How do you find yours? Any options you had to have, but turned out to be things you don't use very often? Thinking the surround camera system for example?

Thanks for all the replies, this is a bit over budget but if they did a deal I would be interested. Looks like its sat around since Oct as not taxed since then. First owner was landrover for 5000 miles then 2nd owner for 6000 miles in 6 months.

It has most of the extras I like, I wasn't really looking for a white one, but will see what it looks like in the flesh.

Yes I have been doing some LRE research, checking my photos from FOS in 2014 and they have they had Discos on the LRE with reg numbers very similar, I will walk away from this one. Loads out there and not keen on this one.

Loving it already, I gave it a quick wash, but a full detail will follow (If I can stop driving it).

Mud flaps will be on tomorrow, what paint do you use on the hubs?
