Morning
Looking for some advice on this.
My sisters l405 (2016 about 8k miles I think) has developed a number of faults that the local dealer is struggling to rectify:
- vibrating / resonating brakes
- DVD player in front failing
- start stop button flickering / failing to illuminate
- add blue warning keeps coming on

Local service centre have been helpful but don't seem to be able to resolve. Have contacted lr uk who have asked her to take it back to the. Service centre (6 or 7th time and each time she gets a Toyota igo for a week - not ideal with 3 young kids)

Any of these known faults or has she just been unlucky?

additional info:

Brakes - so far as I can gather they were initially making a squealing noise at low speed / coming to a stop. Went in for repair and now makes a metallic resonating sound, again when coming to a stop. In a sense, this is the least concerning as it is an old fashioned mechanical issue that I am sure the service centre will sort eventually

Dvd - rear ones work fine. Front one will sometimes play, other times just shows black screen when supposed to be playing.

Stop start button. This one was really odd. Last time I was in the car it didn't illuminate at all the after about 15 minutes started flickering on and off for a minute or two then stayed off. Came on when reached duel carriageway if that is significant?

Add blue - I can't remember exact message but it's something like xxxxx reservoir low, plus yellow ! Came on October last year and was reset by dealer on one of its many visits to the service centre. She does less than 1k / month. Mixture of dc and city driving.

On final thing I forgot to mention, when she presses the stop button it kills the engine but sometimes the dash stays on. Has to press stop start button again to switch the dash off (not explaining this very well but when the dash stays on it looks and sounds they way it would if you initially tried to start the car without foot on brake)

It has been in for a couple of software updates but doesn't seem to have helped.

Apologies for the vague replies. My information source is not the most technically minded.

Feel a bit sorry for her. Not huge issues but has taken the shine off her new car.

Many thanks for your time looking at this.
