Pubs - weekly turnover?

What would be the usual weekly turnover for your average pub?

I've just seen an advert on Gumtree advertising a General Managers position for the pub on the local estate, and it states the average weekly sales. Considering their clientele is the same load of workshy scumbags day in, day out, I was quite shocked at the figure.

ETA: ah wait no, it says expected sales, so maybe not what they've been doing

£28k a week. It's what'd be classed as fairly rough with a regular clientele but I don't know if this is what they've been doing or what they expect it to do now Toby Carvery have taken over

To be able to afford to drink in a pub you'd probably need to have a decent income and in my little experience they're not bad sorts in locals.

Haha, I don't want the job, it was boarded up when I went past so I googled to find out if it had finally been closed down.

Yeah the big Tesco is just up the road from it.

ETA: For those talking about turnover Vs profit, that's irrelevant. I'm not interested in how profitable the business is, I was just somewhat surprised at the how much the locals are putting through there weekly.
