Quick question

Ok lads. I know no better place in the Uk to ask this question. Myself and a mate are about to start a dropshipping company. Firstly an on-line style and then who knows after. First up its going to be based in Ireland, so this may not apply here but the 1 question we have at the beginning is we have looked at UK wholesalers and wondering do we need to be established before we start buying ? or can we literately just buy now ? order 100 products say and just sell through our own field. We will be buying + vat so not trying to dodge taxes or the likes. We're in the process of registering as a partnership, buying company name from revenue etc but this takes time so just gathering as much info on Uk suppliers first. We have looked at china and the likes but the fear of been ripped off, delays in arrival etc kills it. maybe in the future but for now keep it closer to home is the key. So the basic question is can joe soap just buy from a wholesale company and do as I please
