I have an idea for a website which would be funded by adverts etc, so no financial input by the users.

Is there anyone here that has run/is running something similar?

True, I know revenue is pegged by hits/visits. Does it also depends on type of ad/topic?

Any ball park numbers on revenue per volume of visits etc?
