What is a re-order code for stock?

Excuse my naivety running a very small company, but I have just been asked off one of our large clients for a re-order code.
Now before sounding like a complete novice (I am but that is beside the point) in front of them and making a fool of ones self, I thought I would ask on here as I don't mind looking a t
t with egg on my face here.
So its not barcodes, Im not aware of any requirement for a fulfilment style of software for dealing with them, they deal with other companies just as small, so what is it?
Cheers for any light shed on the subject before I have to ask the head buyer what they mean?

They have no invoices on the system as they are brand new, there are infinite (very large number ) ways to order and take a order of 50 units, being there are 19 different items. So its not something I have come across as every order has been to the clients choice and no 2 orders have ever been the same with resellers.
Sometimes they want more of one and less of the other, so normal order of 50 might be 25GC25OC, next time it could be 10GC40OC, etc...
GC= Grey chair
OC= Oak chair
So there is no standard reorder code and they are doing a SOR test batch of 20, instead of a euro pallet of 50 so there will never be a re-order of that.
Sometimes they want more of one and less of the other, so normal order of 50 might be 25GC25OC, next time it could be 10GC40OC, etc...

It sounds like (whichever way round it is) someone just wants a code that will allow the same item to be re-ordered.
They are a reseller.
I can't give them a re-order code to something that has never existed, resellers orders vary purely on the amount of stock they shift, so they mix and match as they need to reorder, so each reseller has bespoke orders.
In stock I have the following.
Nordeck Chair (pine: grey, brown, black)
Nordeck Chair (birch: oiled)
Nordeck Chair (birch: white)
Nordeck Chair (larch)
Nordeck Chair (alder)
Nordeck Table (oak)
Nordeck Table (pine: grey, brown, black)
Nordeck Table (birch: oiled)
Nordeck Table (birch: white)

No one has ever re-ordered a full pallet of one item after the initial pallet, its always a bespoke pallet.
50 Chairs fit on a pallet.
76 tables fit on a pallet.
You can mix and match them in any order, so that is what resellers do.
So I can only give them a quick order system (if too lazy to send a PO of 50 Grey Pine Chairs) then I can accept a text/email of 50PC, but what does that save and it doesnt.
So Im just not understanding how sending them a list of codes of
50GC+C
50OC+C
25OC30OT+C
is going to make it any faster or work as there needs to be someone on their side to analyse stock sales and decide what needs to be on the pallet and that will never be a quick re-order code.

If they want to order the same as what they ordered last time, then have a look at the order code they used last time. Or make one up. It's just to get it onto and through a system

How can they re-order if they haven't placed 1st order.Maybe the buyer means:
"When I place the 1st order also give me a code that I can use to order exactly the same mix again"
I will probably shorten it to RG-IWTOTSA001
See how long it is before they twig.

They probably (almost certainly) assign a part number / sku / order code or whatever they call it to every item they resell. So (I'm guessing her a bit obviously) they probably expect that you do the same.
Can only suggest, as other have, that you ask them. Will save a lot of guessing!
