Any Facebook marketing experts on here?

I started my facebook page around 3 years ago but the likes were not picking up - I know probably was not adding any good content etc etc but I got greedy and used the services of FIVERR and paid £5 for 10,000 facebook likes just to make my page look more "professional" worked a treat and within 48 hours I had 12k facebook likes.
Now the problem is that a couple of years down the line I have realised that all the likes were from Turkey! And it seems my page is only being promoted in Turkey as anything I upload is not shared on my friends feeds even though they have liked my page!
When I try and pay for targeted advertising that too shows the page being targeted to Turkey! Is there any way round this or will I need to start a new facebook page!?!?
