Live & Work properties in the UK ?

Hi,

This is more of an exploratory query really.

Are there any properties in the UK which are 'Live & Work' licensed?

I understand this is a bit of a broad question, so to focus a little more, I'm thinking of a unit perhaps between 1200-2500 Sq Ft of total floor space which has say a 500-750 sq Ft living area and the rest being light commercial use/office/warehouse space.

The reason I ask is that I'm a very frequent traveller to the USA/Canada and I've seen a number of such units. They're usually in a dedicated 'block' as it were and placed a little further out from purely residential blocks, but not too far away. I was wondering if there's similar type units here in the UK. When I search, I do get some results back but looking to see if there's any more knowledge and tips etc amongst PHer's?!

Cheers for that, it's a pity that there's not more of such units, it'd help a lot of those looking to make efficient use of funds when trying to start, build and expand a business. I'll keep an eye out for whatever is available in the UK.
