Hi all,
I currently run a hand car wash on what used to be a petrol station, we've been operating since 2009. For the past two years during the autumn/winter months we've started selling vehicles for the extra income as business slows down.

I recently got a letter from the council stating that we'd breached our planning permission/unauthorised change of use by storing and selling vehicles from the premises and have 30 days to remove them from site.

Currently we have planning permission for a car wash which is classed as a Sui Generis. Having done some digging, it would seem that vehicle sales are also classed as a Sui generis? Would this mean that i'm ok to continue trading or would need to apply for a different planning permission?
I've been in touch with the council and have heard nothing since mad

There is a 'home trader' that lives not too far from where we are, he has been pestering us to use our land to park his cars on for next to nothing. He came in the other day and said "where have all your cars gone? have the council told you to move them?" put two & two together.... mad

Either ways, my solicitor is dealing with it and ...if they decline my application then that's that.
